Online Administrative Assistant Training Series
Beginning or seasoned administrative assistants looking to enhance their work can find practical tips and techniques in the Administrative Assistant Essentials training series from 1-3 p.m. on Fridays, April 21 through May 19, offered by the Workforce Community and Business Programs of McHenry County College. This fundamental program is taught by Andy Kaufman, president of the Institute for Leadership Excellence and Development, Inc.
During the five-week series, students will participate in highly interactive, live online sessions with the instructor and peers. Meeting online minimizes the time away from the office but provides the benefits of class discussion, group participation and instructor interaction. This series is ideal for seasoned administrative assistants looking for ways to revitalize their work and find a fresh perspective on what has to be done as well as a person new to the field looking for practical ways to start at the top of their game. The program is divided into the following weekly topics: Styles and Relationships, Project Management for Administrative Assistants, Managing Time and Commitment, Influencing Others, and Managing Conflict.
This workshop is an essential part of managing information, improving workplace relationships and successfully accomplishing your to-do list.
Cost of the 10-hour series is $299. Participants can register using course code: NTL C29 001. Instructions on how to access the course will be sent a few days prior to the beginning of the series.
