First Aid CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens Training Offered

     

McHenry County College is offering the American Heart Association First Aid CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at the Shah Center in McHenry.

Training in the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED and BBP enables employees and designated first responders to provide appropriate rescuer action in the event of a workplace emergency.

This course is appropriate for participants with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in First Aid, CPR and AED. It is also designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens as a first responder in the workplace.
