Lean/Six Sigma Online Course Available
McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs partners with the Learning Resources Network (LERN) to offer Lean Six Sigma training from June 4 through 29 the MCC Shah Center in McHenry.
Lean Six Sigma, used in manufacturing and service industries, attacks inefficiencies, wastes caused by defects, unproductive flow of information or materials, data storage, stacks of inventory, over-production and extra processing. With Lean Six Sigma techniques, participants will learn skills to successfully lead. No pre-requisites are required.
The online instructor for this course is Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Scott Follett, an engineer with more than 15 years’ experience teaching and practicing Six Sigma.
Participants will receive logon a week before class starts. This online course takes an average of 16 hours to complete. A transcript form will be sent indicating successful completion of the course, awards CEUs/ILUs, and lists the course date.
